Gingerbread House Contest

Two days before Christmas, the Larsen, Kapp, Burnham, Colvin, and Dushku clans all got together for a massive gingerbread house contest. The old folks either talked or took pictures while the young folks participated in the contest.

The contestants were very creative. Going left to right, the first group created the house that lured in Hansel and Gretal. The middle group created a candy shack that an unemployed professional was living in with his very large family (...funny because the fathers to the kids in this group were a doctor and a lawyer with relatively large families). And the final group created a Crips vs. Bloods house complete with a dead Santa on the roof (because he was wearing the wrong colours) and bullet holes peppering the house. A little morbid, but also quite creative.

This was a surprisingly good time!
